关于我们
TeamMTL is a collaboration between McGill University andConcordia University in Montreal, Canada, comprised of faculty and studentsfrom several different and diverse departments including architecture, designand computation arts, engineering, business, management, dance and theatre. Thedesign, construction, and operation of the Deep-Performance Dwelling is anactive partnership with inter-disciplinary and cross-institutional teamsworking side-by-side in an integrative design process. This dynamic collaborationcapitalizes on the expertise, strengths, and resources of two preeminent Québecuniversities. The student team is comprised of undergraduate and graduatestudents at all stages in their career from a wide array of disciplines.
TeamMTL由麦吉尔大学和肯高迪亚大学的众多教职员、教授以及学生共同组成,其囊括的领域有建筑、艺术及数码设计、工程、商学、管理、舞蹈及戏剧。DPD的一体化设计,建设以及运营要求我们跨越学科以及机构组织,与我们的合作伙伴们完美配合。这项合作充分运用了魁北克两所杰出大学的专业知识,优势和资源。团队的学生成员包括本科生与研究生。他们来自不同领域并处于职业与学业 生涯的不同阶段,每一位都以最独特的方式为我们团队带来活力与灵魂。
DESIGN STATEMENT
设计理念
“Deep-Performance” implies a socially, culturally, andtechnologically advanced architecture that embodies qualitative andquantitative notions of performance in addressing energy efficiency, comfort,wellbeing, affordability, environmental sustainability and ecologicalawareness.
“DPD”的设计理念的目标是在社会、文化以及科技领域里一马当先,将品质和数据的表现具体化到高效率、舒适、经济、以及环保的设计原则。
TYPOLOGICALLY APPROPRIATE
户型适当
The DPD is a uniquely syncretic product of our study oftwo proven traditional housing typologies born of different cultures. The rowhouse typology, typical of Montreal’s urban fabric, accommodates single-familyscenarios in a long and narrow low-rise form. The Siheyuan courtyard housedemonstrates an environmentally and culturally specific approach to citydwelling of great historic, social, and functional value.
“DPD” 住宅是两种传统户型以及文化的独特结合。蒙特利尔典型的联排户型可以在面积较长并狭窄的低层高度限制情况下舒适容纳单户居住。同时,中国的四合院户型塑造了一种别致的城市生活方式以及户型功能,已建为语言展示了中国独一无二的历史气候以及社会文化。两者结合之后,庭院允许更自然照明和被动通风,而排房结构创提高了度户型密度以便容纳几代人在同一屋檐下一起生活。

By using passive design and construction principles, weare designing a net-zero energy capable dwelling in an urban context. This ispossible by developing the design through an integrative process overarchingthe project. From the active systems to building envelope and prefabricationconstruction methods, all aspects of the house contributes to the house’szero-energy goal.
利用被动式太阳能建筑的设计及施工理念,我们设计并建造了一栋零能耗单体家庭住宅。 通过整合各种节能技术,优化设计方案,可以说我们的设计很好的达成初始设定的宏大目标。具体来说,不论灵活的建筑设计,还是预制式建筑围护结构的使用,我们独具匠心的设计体现在方方面面,并且均有助于零能耗目标的实现。

TeamMTL begins with the premise that the project’s designand construction must be applicable to the contemporary Montreal urban, social,and affordable housing context. “Deep-Performance” implies a socially,culturally, and technologically advanced architecture that embodies qualitativeand quantitative notions of performance in addressing energy efficiency,comfort, wellbeing, affordability, environmental sustainability and ecologicalawareness. The ongoing transformation in the social dynamics and the compositionof the contemporary family unit have revealed the need for flexibility andadaptability over time for diverse live-work-play and inter-generationalscenarios which is at the heart of the DPD design.
蒙特利尔团队以切合实际需求为前提,旨在建造适用于当代蒙特利尔城市及社会环境的零能耗住宅。所谓“高效能”设计是一种集社会性,文化性和科技性为一体的先进建筑设计理念,其为以降低能源消耗,提高居住舒适程度,践行可持续发展理念为目标的绿色建筑创新赋予了新的定义与内涵。本设计的核心在于建造拥有居住、生活、娱乐等复合功能,更具灵活及舒适性的代际家庭空间,以满足当代社会科技发展背景下人们日益提高的生活品质需求。

智能家电的所需的信息传输由安装的传感器完成,主要对建筑能耗及住户个性化设置等指标进行采集,并为住户提供友好的使用界面。这样的智能化高科技体验不但能提高住户的环保意识,更使我们离建筑可持续道路的战略目标更进一步。

We consider the ongoing transformation in the socialdynamics and variability of composition of the contemporary family unit as aprimary driver for innovation toward urban sustainability. The need forflexibility and adaptability over time for diverse living configurations(live/work/play, intergenerational, extended family) is an inspiration for thearchitecture of the DPD.
现代家庭构成的转变以及社会的多元化都对都市建筑的可塑性的提出了新的挑战。作为新一代住宅,DPD对于不同住户生活的方式有着极强的适应能力。无论是在家办公的自由职业者,多代同居的家庭,抑或是面临着新生活的年轻夫妇,都将在DPD中找到最适合他们的住宅配置。

The DPD is intended as an urban single-family home thatanswers the pressing global challenge to provide affordable and robust housingin cities that must achieve greater environmental and cultural sustainability,livability, and social equity. It includes layers of private/shared/publicspace (designed for high quality, healthy urban living).

The DPD incorporates an array of passive on-site resourcemanagement and monitoring systems allowing to consume much less energy toaccomplish the same result as active systems. For example, the temperaturethroughout the house is regulated by optimized shading devices to maximizesolar gains along passive cooling and heating systems.
DPD的控制系统包括一系列的能源监控采集设备,在保证用户体验与房屋性能的前提下,本建筑构造最大的优化了对于自然及可持续能源的利用,使其避免过分依赖于技术设备。其效果在极大减少传统能耗的同时,性能与主动供能系统保持齐平。以减少传统能源的消耗为目标,最大限度的平衡能源需求和系统供应能力,使其达到“自给自足”的零能耗终极目标。
例如遮阳装置可调节室内的日照水平,并配合自然对流与良好的储热系统将日照产生的热量隔离于室内或室外,营造冬暖夏凉的效果。

A key innovation of the DPD is the utilization of off-site(factory) prefabrication methods of construction. It is designed for bothmodular & panelized options. Prefabrication addresses issues ofaffordability, reduction of waste, health and safety of workers, greater exportcapacity, and quality control to achieve high-performance building standards.Quebec’s prefabrication industry is one of the most robust in North America andits expansion into the high-performance building industry is a key to its development.
