意大利乃至整个欧洲有许多因为各种原因，被人遗弃的城市。

• Craco, in the province of Matera, was depopulated in the middle of the 20th century, due to a landslide and the subsequent emigration. The abandonment has made Craco a popular filming location for movies such as The Nativity Story,[29] The Passion of the Christ[30] and Quantum of Solace.[31]
• Melito Vecchio (Old Melito), Avellino
• Monteruga, Apulia
• Pentedattilo, in Calabria, was severely damaged in an earthquake in 1783, and was completely abandoned by the 1960s.
• Poggioreale is a town in Sicily that was destroyed by the 1968 Belice earthquake.
• Pompeii was mostly destroyed and buried under of ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

• Tocco Caudio, in Benevento, was abandoned following the 1980 Irpinia earthquake.
  

在八月，去了米兰周围的 Consonno ，具体位置 GPS: 45,47117   9,23342 ，靠近lecco湖区（就是como湖的另一边）  ，交通方式的话除了开车以外，附近有火车站，可以从米兰做火车抵达calolziocorte（olginate）大约50分钟，每小时一班车，之后从火车站徒步登山大约2个多小时抵达Consonno 。

Consonno本身是不收任何门票的，每天都开可以随时过去转转，在每周日的时候早上十点到晚七点有个小酒吧开门营业。

更多关于consonno的资料可以参见意大利文网址 Consonno主页被某些杂志评为世界十大鬼城的consonno经常有一些意大利年轻人举办聚会,每年还有一些音乐节和展会,更是涂鸦爱好者的圣地,由于现在仍然是私人领地,政府无权干涉也无权治理,所有也就一直荒废到现在了。

在1962年，Bagno伯爵买下了Consonno地区，并拆除每一个建筑，大兴土木，除了位于consonno北边的教堂和墓地（现在还存在着）。

这是从olginate去consonno的路牌，在山脚下的岔路口。

如今的意大利式的拉斯维加斯，变成了后人猎奇的地方了。
